Proudly Serving Austin TX - Austin TX - Atlas ChimneyOUTDOORS

With 300 days of sunshine and an average temperature of 68 degrees, Austin is a perfect city for those who love the outdoors and hosts a wide variety of activities. The 10-mile off-road Lady Bird Lake Hike and Bike Trail winds through the city and offers lush scenery alongside stunning views of the skyline. One of the most famous attractions in Austin, the Barton Springs Pool is a three-acre natural spring-fed watering hole with a constant 68 degree temperature. Over 800,000 visit the Barton Springs Pool every year, and Robert Redford even learned how to swim here when he was five years old! To see both of these attractions, take a ride on the Zilker Zephyr, a miniature train that is especially fun for kids.

NIGHTLIFE

Known as the “Live Music Capital of the World,” Austin is home to approximately 200 venues that offer nightly shows of rock, blues, jazz, country, hip hop, punk, or Latino music. Some of the most famous clubs here include Antone’s, where Stevie Ray Vaughn got his start, The Broken Spoke, where you can learn how to do the Texas Two-Step, and The Continental Club, which is also known as the “Granddaddy of Austin music venues.”

ARTS

Home to several museums and galleries, Austin is known for its creativity. You will find world-class museums like the Blanton, which hosts the largest University-owned collection on exhibit in the country, and the Harry Ransom Center, which features the First Photograph and Gutenberg Bible. In the many galleries around town, you will find works from the many designers, painters, sculptors, and photographers who live here. You can also pay respect to the cultural and historical heritage of the area at museums like the Mexic-Arte Museum, the Carver Museum, and the Bullock Museum.
